Big Game Giveaway Update: Winners

Congratulations to the “Big Game Giveaway” Winners: Coleman Richmond, Danielle Schetselarr, and Linda Wrathall! They donated with ARUP Blood Services between December 19, 2007 and January 31, 2008 and their names were pulled out as the winners of the giveaway on Friday, February 1, 2008. There were more than 8500 entries in the contest.

ARUP Blood Services would like to thank all those who participated in the contest. The holiday season can be a very difficult time to collect blood and many of you donated during this time to help out the patients at the hospitals.

ARUP Blood Services would also like to thank the sponsors who also helped contribute the prizes for the “Big Game Giveaway.”

Whole Blood

O+ and A- blood types are needed to help patients at the hospitals.

Summer Donors

The sun is out, but don't forget to come in and donate blood. Hospitals are seeing a huge increase in trauma patients this summer, so please come in and donate today!

Platelets

We are looking to expand our platelet donor base. If you have donated whole blood, please consider becoming a platelet donor today.

Blood Drives

We are currently lining up more blood drives for July and August. Please help us out by having your church, business, or community group hold a blood drive.
